Kitty Thompson

Jim and Kitty have been training and showing Labrador Retrievers since1991. We got our first Labrador in 1989 and took our first obedience classes in 1990 and got hooked. Together we have put 30 titles on our Labs in both Obedience and Rally. Kitty has also worked some in Agility and shown dogs in Conformation, but our true passion is obedience. We began teaching classes for various dog clubs we belonged to from 1999 through 2006 when we moved from Florida to Alabama. We have taught all levels of obedience from beginner classes through all the competitive levels. In addition, Kitty worked with 4-H clubs in Florida teaching obedience to children from age 7 to 18. In the first year the Polk County, Fl., club won state honors with two of the children taking first places overall in their divisions. Kitty has also held various seminars on different areas of obedience, including a seminar for 4-H leaders on teaching obedience. She has also put together seminars for judges and exhibitors to review the AKC Obedience and Rally regulations.
